Camps

Grassroots follows the Charleston County Public School district. Days that CCSD is closed, Grassroots is open for Camp for your active kiddos!
 

Don’t let them sit at home all day, or interrupt your work schedule!

Camp Info

Each day of camp has at least one hour of gymnastics instruction in the morning and another hour in the afternoon, mixed in with age-appropriate games and activities.

The children are broken up into age groups during the gymnastics instruction, our camps are open to all levels and experience. The rest of the day is made up of free time in the gym, games like hide-and-seek,  arts + craft time, and a short movie break after lunch.

WE OFFER FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING ON ALL OF OUR CAMPS. YOU CHOOSE THE DAYS YOU ATTEND CAMPS AND ONLY PAY FOR THE DAYS YOU NEED.

FULL DAY
8:30am-3:00pm (4.5 yrs +)

$55 day // $275 week

Daily Schedule
8:30-9:30am – Drop-Off :: Open Gym
9:30-10:15am– Warm-Up :: Stretch
10:15-10:45am – Snack :: Arts & Crafts
10:45-11:45am – Gymnastics Class
12:00-1:00ppm - Lunch Time
1:00 -1:30pm – Open Gym
1:30-2:45pm - Gymnastics Class :: Games
2:45-3:00pm – Clean Up :: Pick-Up

The gym opens at 8:30 am.  You will not be able to enter the gym before then. Pick up is between 2:45-3:00 pm.  All children must be picked up by 3p to avoid aftercare charges.

Aftercare is available from 3-5pm for $10/hr or $15/hr for siblings.

What to Bring

  • Each camper needs to have a large water bottle with their name on it, and a healthy snack each day. 

  • Full-Day Campers need to bring a lunch.

  • Water is the only drink allowed at the gym

  • Campers 5 & under need to bring a backpack with their name on it with a change of clothes (just in case!).

  • Remember that your kids are going non-stop! Pack an extra item or two in their lunches, and think of lunch and snack as a way to “refuel”.

 

HEALTHY SNACK IDEAS INCLUDE::

FRESH OR DRIED FRUIT (NOT FRUIT SNACKS), VEGGIES AND DIP, GRANOLA/GRANOLA BARS, CHEESE STICK, HUMMUS. AVOID SALTY (DEHYDRATING) FOODS LIKE CHIPS AND PRETZELS.
