Grassroots Gymnastics has enacted updated policies in accordance with CDC and DHEC guidelines in response to Covid-19, ensuring parents that health and safety is the gym’s main priority.
We offer rolling enrollments, year-round, with no long term commitments and you may enroll at any time. We prorate tuition weekly based on your enrollment date. Classes are filled on a first-come-first-served basis. Once enrolled your child will attend the same class each week until you notify us of a change via email.
Tuition is paid monthly on the first of the month. A $2.50 service fee will apply to any credit card payments made after first months tuition. To avoid the CC processing fee you can enter your bank information on the Parent Portal. Tuition payments may also be made by cash or check ($25 returned check fee). If tuition payment isn’t received by the 10th, a $10 late fee will be assessed to your account. If monthly tuition is not paid by the start of the following month, we will not hold your child’s spot in his/her class.
GRASSROOTS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SHORTEN OR CANCEL CLASSES WITH LOW ENROLLMENTS.
All Students will be charged an annual registration fee of $40/child, or $80/family (2 or more children).
This fee is good for 12 months and covers any classes and camps.
Any new clients are welcome to try a class at a rate of $15/first class, $25 additional classes.
The registration fee is temporarily waived until you choose to sign up.
Space permitting, we offer classes on a drop-in basis for $25/class.
Call the office at least 24 hours in advance to check availability and to reserve your spot.
If you miss class for any reason, make-ups can be arranged with the office, or on the Customer Portal. If you know you will be absent in the future, please contact us immediately to reschedule a class within 30 days of the missed class. Make-ups will only be offered to those currently enrolled at GG and within 30 days of the missed class. Rescheduled classes must be the same type of class that your child is enrolled in or our Open Gym options. If you have dropped your enrollment and have missed class in that last month, you have 14 days from the missed class to reschedule. GG does not refund, prorate or credit tuition due to absences.
PARENTS MUST NOTIFY GRASSROOTS 30 DAYS IN ADVANCE TO DROP A STUDENT FROM CLASS. We require an email record of your request, so please understand that telling a teacher will not result in your child’s enrollment being terminated. GG cannot guarantee your previous class will have an opening upon your return to our program.
Please note: You are responsible for payment for your student’s classes WHETHER OR NOT YOUR STUDENT ATTENDS CLASS until the time you notify the staff VIA EMAIL. Please do not rely on your child to verbally let us know that he/she will no longer be attending classes. If a student stops coming to class without notification then that student’s account will be charged for the additional 30 days. This charge will be for holding the student’s place in that class instead of offering that place to someone who may be on a waiting list.
NO REFUND OR CREDITS FOR DROPPED OR MISSED CLASSES. (refer to our make-up policy above) Grassroots Gymnastics maintains a strict student to coach ratio to keep class sizes small. Because of this commitment, a student enrolled in a class often prohibits other students from enrolling in that class. Therefore, once a month has started, no refunds will be given if a student withdraws from a class, with the exception of medical excuses. In such situations, we reserve the right to request a written acknowledgment from a licensed medical practitioner before granting a refund.
Our camps have a similar coach to student ratios, and so therefore no refunds will be offered. If written notice is provided 7 days before the start date of the camp you may be eligible for a credit on your account (less any deposits and registration fees). All deposits and Registration Fees are non-refundable.
EACH CHILD MUST HAVE A WAIVER SIGNED BY A LEGAL GUARDIAN TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY ACTIVITIES IN THE GYM.
Arrival + Pickup
Be sure your student arrives 5 minutes before his/her scheduled class time. Please pick up your child on time. Please inform us if you know you will be late picking up your child. Instruct your child to wait inside the building and you should escort them from the building to your car. During peak times the parking lot is crowded. If you are consistently late to pick up your child, Grassroots reserves the right to charge standard child rates for each minute you are late.
